The programs listed below provide an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to fulfil externship/internship experiences required by their home institution.

Title: TN AHEC Externship Program (Division of Community Health)

Description: Practical learning opportunities and experiences are provided to selected students interested in pursuing a career in the area of public health.

Eligibility/Application Information: Undergraduate and graduate that need to complete an internship/externship experience and are interested in career opportunities in Public Health. Participants may apply for a fall, spring, or summer experience. Availability is limited.

Title: West Tennessee AHEC Community Health Education Internship

Description: Selected undergraduate students will be provided community health education training and job shadowing opportunities through scheduled activities in community settings.

Eligibility/Application Information: Applications are accepted year-round and can be requested by emailing skee2@bellsouth.net.
